Position Responsibilities

The Beverage Server in the lounge area is tasked with delivering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking guest orders and serving drinks efficiently while adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction in designated areas and beyond.
  • Complying with state liquor laws and maintaining Alcohol Awareness Certification.
  • Keeping the bar and service areas clean and organized.
  • Following beverage control procedures and company policies.
  • Promoting responsible gaming and alcohol service by communicating concerns to management.
  • Fostering positive relationships with guests and team members.

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with 6 months to 1 year of experience in a high-volume food or beverage service role. A Mixology certification is preferred.
  • Ongoing participation in Alcohol Awareness Certification training is mandatory.
  • Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
  • Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest return.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage offerings is essential.
  • Capability to accurately process cash transactions.
  • Adherence to all regulatory and departmental policies is required.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment is dynamic, fast-paced, and often crowded. Employees may encounter environmental factors such as noise and secondhand smoke.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds are required. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
