Position Overview
The Bartender for Local Eats is tasked with delivering outstanding guest service while expertly mixing and serving beverages to patrons and servers in a welcoming and efficient manner. This role may involve working in various bar settings, including concession level bars, club level bars, or designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and take beverage orders from servers or directly from patrons.
- Prepare drinks and cocktails according to established recipes and specifications.
- Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines as mandated by Federal, State, and Local regulations, as well as company standards.
- Accurately input all orders into the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding work area.
- Complete all setup and breakdown tasks for the assigned bar area.
- Ensure proper rotation and stocking of beverage coolers.
- Complete necessary reporting paperwork at the conclusion of each event.
- Follow Legends' Uniform and Grooming standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- In-depth knowledge of beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
- Prior bartending experience in a high-end restaurant or club setting.
- Ability to obtain food safety and responsible alcohol service certifications.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service abilities.
- Physical capability to perform assigned tasks, including reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while navigating various surfaces.
- Availability for scheduled events and games.
- Commitment to practicing safe work habits and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
