Role Overview
As an Onsite IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hardware and software support to our clients. Your primary duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and repair.
- Implementing effective virus detection and removal strategies.
- Diagnosing and resolving end-user system failures.
- Addressing printer and peripheral device malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues to ensure seamless operation.
Key Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you will need to:
- Possess experience with Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, smartphones, AV conferencing systems, printers, and PC hardware.
- Maintain a positive demeanor in challenging situations.
- Support remote users and facilities effectively.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.
- Conduct thorough research and troubleshooting for complex technical challenges.
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Be physically capable of lifting equipment up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Show a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Hold a High School Diploma (required).
- Have relevant experience in deskside or desktop support, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proven ability to handle urgent user support requests effectively.
- Ability to balance and organize multiple responsibilities efficiently.
