Job Summary:
This role will assist insurance agency representatives in gathering necessary documents for new clients and entering information into the agency management system. The successful candidate will also partner with insurance representatives to manage and maintain existing accounts, including account servicing, marketing, and account rounding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address customer needs by confirming appropriate coverage, processing change requests, and handling billing and payment inquiries.
- Prepare applications for renewals, reviewing for accuracy and entering into the agency management system.
- Process insurance claims by gathering information from clients, submitting to insurance companies, and following through to the close of the claim with claims adjusters.
- Order Motor Vehicle Reports for prospective insured drivers.
- Assist producers in marketing new business accounts, processing applications, and submitting to insurance companies for binding of coverage and completion of Certificates of Insurance.
- Provide clients with automobile identification cards.
- Compile information for marketing of prospects.
- Review expiration lists to confirm all policies in the current period are renewed.
- Scan and attach all documents to customer files in the agency management system.
- Complete all mandatory and elective training, including Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering procedures, and maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent GED.
- Must have Property and Casualty License.
- Preferred minimum of one (1) year experience working with insurance-related tasks.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service - Intermediate.
