We are on the lookout for a skilled Aerospace Mechanical Engineer to become part of our innovative team in the Van Nuys area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for developing repair designs, coupled with outstanding communication abilities and a collaborative spirit. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement repairs for mechanical aircraft components
  • Collaborate with clients and FAA representatives during the repair design process
  • Create shop routings and travelers for repair initiatives
  • Monitor parts throughout the repair lifecycle
  • Develop specialized shop tooling

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Graduate Engineer
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and GD&T
  • Capable of analyzing mechanical components and conducting stress analysis
  • Experience with in-house manufacturing processes and machine tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Open-minded and adaptable to change

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Solidworks
  • Experience working with FAA ACO or DERs
  • Previous experience in a lead engineering or supervisory role
