Electro-Mechanical Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at huMannity Medtec. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronics Assembly: Assemble and test electronic components, including hand soldering and use of automated test equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with electronic parts and assemblies.
- Soldering and Testing: Solder and test circuit boards, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Setup and Testing: Set up and test electrical systems using automated and semi-automated test equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of assembly and testing processes.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry, such as medical devices.
- Skills: Expert-level soldering ability, IPC certification preferred. Understanding of small, delicate ESD-sensitive assemblies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mechanical Assembly: Experience with mechanical assembly, welding, brazing, epoxy, and adhesives.
- Previous Assembly Experience: Previous experience as an assembly technician in medical device, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics.
