Position Details:

We are looking for a skilled Aerospace Manufacturing Specialist to join our dynamic production team. This role offers the chance to work on groundbreaking aerospace innovations and contribute to the advancement of space systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace, assembly, and manufacturing, with a thorough understanding of industry standards such as AS9100, IPC, and NASA regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented technician capable of interpreting technical drawings and ensuring exceptional quality in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble, install, and repair aerospace systems and components according to precise instructions and specifications.
  2. Conduct mechanical assembly tasks, including bonding, staking, torqueing, and wire routing.
  3. Perform inspections of assembly and installation processes to ensure compliance with specifications using precision measuring tools.
  4. Document assembly and testing procedures to maintain traceability and retrievability of production activities.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and enhance assembly methods.
  6. Adhere to AS9100, IPC, and NASA standards in all work.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
  8. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
  9. Assist in training fellow technicians and provide mentorship as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of experience as an Aerospace Technician or in a related manufacturing role.
  2. Strong knowledge of aerospace systems and components.
  3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  4. Familiarity with AS9100, IPC, and NASA standards.
  5. Excellent mechanical skills and manual dexterity.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  7. Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  10. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
