We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Specialist PRN to join our team and ensure that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications- Accurately documents patient information and performs non-clinical tasks to facilitate procedure completion.
- Handles all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures, disposing of radioactive waste according to departmental policies and Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
- Conducts imaging and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established requirements.
- Engages in non-clinical activities related to equipment maintenance and compliance with NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring.
- Efficiently operates electronic information systems and Unit Dose Manager.
- Maintains adequate supplies and ensures a clean and organized work environment.
- Participates in continuing education to enhance knowledge in Nuclear Medicine.
- Contributes to departmental quality assurance and performance improvement projects as needed.
- Provides care in a professional and courteous manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine, which may include formal training.
