Job Title: Strategic Account Manager

At Wesco International, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with our key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities to deliver value.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities, including renewals, projects, and share improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate customer activity, opportunity status, and strategic plan progress to management.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in outside sales or 3+ years of strategic account and/or sales management experience.
  • History of success maintaining and developing key relationships.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure.
