About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist to join our team at Lowe's. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales expertise to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert knowledge of home appliances to customers, including product features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Assist customers in selecting the right appliances for their needs, and provide recommendations for complementary products.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure that all sales are properly documented.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store staff to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of external experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe's retail experience.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance, and may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience entering and submitting customer sales orders, including Special Order Sales.
  • 2 years of experience identifying and selling products based upon customer needs or plans.
  • 2 years of experience in providing customer service, including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business.
  • 2 years of experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs.
  • 1 year of experience promoting product-related services and plans, such as installation, delivery, credit financing, or extended protection plans.
  • 2 years of experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics.
