Insight Global is seeking an Employee Benefits Operations Leader for one of our esteemed insurance partners. This position encompasses traditional account management duties along with significant leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Facilitate departmental meetings to drive team engagement.
- Support the training and professional development of team members.
- Oversee a team of six professionals, including analysts and account managers.
- Design and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring smooth execution of the annual open enrollment process, addressing any arising issues, and establishing strong relationships with clients and carriers.
- Work in tandem with the Benefits Technology Department to promote and assist clients in utilizing our online enrollment systems.
- Ensure accurate management of client accounts and adherence to all deadlines.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities or renewals, either independently or in collaboration with the producer.
- Prepare proposals for client renewals.
- Conduct collaborative meetings with producers and service teams to maintain high service standards.
- Engage with carriers to meet client expectations effectively.
- Proactively seek opportunities to enhance industry knowledge, regulatory understanding, and available resources to improve departmental efficiency and client service.
- Address inquiries from producers and service teams regarding client accounts.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, responding to their questions about policies and services.
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, and agency personnel.
- Travel to meet with insurance companies and clients as necessary.
- Uphold confidentiality regarding client and company information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned that align with the role.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration within the insurance sector.
- 3-5 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading a team of 2 or more.
- Life & Health insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of offer) - Experience with Agency Management Systems (preferably Epic, but other systems are acceptable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong background in Open Enrollment processes.
