Job Description

At PeopleSuite Talent Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Inside Project Consultant to support our outside sales team in driving technical marketing, promotion, and sales of our precast concrete boardwalk system. As an Inside Project Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and consultative solution development to owners, architects, engineers, and contractors primarily in the greenway and trail construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain professional relationships and business opportunities with current and prospective customers, including specifying architects, engineers, and agencies.
  • Help customers determine the needs versus wants of our boardwalk system.
  • Respond to sales leads both on the phone and via email.
  • Operate a defined and proven marketing and sales system in a disciplined manner, striving to continuously improve in the areas of Consultative Marketing and Transactional Selling.
  • Develop client relationships and business opportunities in assigned areas.
  • Provide technical expertise in the boardwalk applications of our precast boardwalk system.
  • Develop budget pricing for initial project design and final project pricing strategy during the Transactional Sales Process.
  • Systematically follow up on projects in unassigned sales regions.
  • Support outside sales team with project development consultations and estimates.
  • Ability to generate engineering concepts in AutoCad.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
  • 3 or more years of work experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and applications using consultative marketing skills verbally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with CAD and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Solid project management skills.
  • Diligent use of a CRM system to manage marketing and sales activities.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Limited travel when needed.
