Housekeeping Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Housekeeping Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the custodial team, ensuring the quality of work meets customer and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and assign daily work assignments to the custodial team.
- Oversee the completion of tasks assigned to the custodial team and ensure the quality of work is satisfactory.
- Partner with department leadership to address performance deficiencies of the custodial team.
- Participate in training of new employees and re-training of employees, as needed.
- Clean assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards and requirements.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and clutter-free work environment to mitigate safety hazards.
- Thoroughly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
- Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with appropriate accredited agencies and Aramark regulations.
- Ensure security of company assets and facility, ensuring doors and equipment storage areas are locked/unlocked, as required.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Previous custodial experience.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures.
This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
