Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager - Technical to join our Fashion and Fitness team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing a bold vision for our next-generation complementary shopping experiences.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed individual who can think big, break the status quo, and invent new ways of solving complex problems. You will use your technical depth and strong writing and communication skills to present a clear product vision, drive clarity in the face of ambiguity, and effectively communicate progress across all levels of the organization.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working backwards from the customer to build compelling business cases and generate innovative ideas supported by insightful data analysis.
  • Defining requirements and leading prioritization and long-term roadmap definition to deliver new features and partner with science, engineering, and stakeholder teams across organizations to execute.
  • Collaborating and prioritizing key development efforts and timelines to ensure short and long-term goals are met.
  • Establishing and being directly responsible for a set of critical goals and KPIs and the levers to influence them.
  • Ensuring change management, global standardization, application optimization, scalability, and agility are components of feature design and development.
  • Working closely with leaders across the Fashion and Fitness organization and Amazon more broadly to influence, drive consensus, and deliver cross-organization impact.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in technical product management, experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end product delivery experience. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience technical product management
  • 10+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market.
