About the Position

MaineHealth Neurosurgery & Spine is seeking a skilled Physiatrist or Osteopathic physician to join their well-established outpatient multispecialty Spine Center in Scarborough.

The ideal candidate will enhance the comprehensive model of care by offering Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) as an adjunctive treatment to non-surgical spinal conditions.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a team of 11 physiatrists, 12 surgeons, 3 anesthesiologists, and 3 physical therapists in a state-of-the-art 100,000ft2 medical building with on-site access to EMG, X-ray, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and MRI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultations and ongoing management of spine conditions and musculoskeletal disorders
  • Collaboration with physiatrists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and anesthesiologists
  • Opportunity to incorporate OMT when clinically appropriate
