We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound examinations and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform carotid dopplers, segmental pressures, bypass graft surveillance examinations, upper and lower extremity venous studies
- Work closely with vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations and results
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
- Registered as RDMS, vascular experience or registered RVT preferred
- Minimum two years' practice or hospital vascular/ultrasound experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff
- Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations
