Key Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Host at LEGOLAND CA Hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Your key objectives will include:

  • Welcome guests with a genuine smile and ensure a seamless check-in process.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and improve the quality of the guest experience.
Main Responsibilities

As a Front Desk Host, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Checking guests in, ensuring accurate information is provided and special requests are fulfilled.
  • Maintaining and improving the quality of the guest experience.
  • Processing all payments according to established hotel requirements.
  • Providing information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
  • Handling guest room reservations, changes, cancellations, and information in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Assisting with emergencies, such as fires, medical issues, or power failures, by contacting designated personnel for immediate assistance.
  • Collaborating with guest services, safety services, housekeeping, and engineering teams to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all guests.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of hotel front desk experience.
  • Experience in OPERA property management system or equivalent.
  • Clear and fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills, proven conflict resolution skills, and proven leadership skills to drive initiatives to improve the team and the business.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
