Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee safety management and culture: ensure compliance with safety programs and promote engagement with all safety initiatives.
  • Evaluate and track performance against operational and strategic plans, developing action plans to meet objectives while fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Support business success by managing facility forecasts and expenses effectively.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Create an inclusive culture where all employees feel valued, thereby reducing turnover and retaining key talent.
  • Encourage ongoing individual training and development to enhance management depth and improve the technical and supervisory skills of the team.
  • Develop knowledge across all business areas, including Customer Service, Estimating, Production, and Operational Excellence.
Required Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to delegate responsibilities and collaborate with department managers.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Robust organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in leading change management initiatives.
  • Proficient in data analytics; familiar with Excel, Power BI, Micro Strategy, and PowerPoint.
  • Approachable leadership style that fosters trust at all organizational levels.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
  • Financial acumen regarding pricing, costs, and margins.
  • Technical proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Strategic mindset.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in business, finance, sales, or operations.
  • Senior-level experience in product manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Five to seven years of industry experience with prior management responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships and engage with customers, suppliers, and other commercial contacts.
  • Understanding of fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of productivity metrics.
  • Experience with fenestration systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in managing employee relations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
  • A steadfast commitment to a safety-first approach in the workplace.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
  • Frequently required to use hands and fingers to operate tools, machines, and equipment.
