We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Director of Nursing Specialty to join our team at DMC Harper University/Hutzel Women's Hospital. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to standardize nursing practice and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate nursing resources to ensure adequate staffing and effective use of resources.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field.
- Five years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as an Associate Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing Director of multiple complex nursing departments.
- Certification in Specialty or Leadership preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
