Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000

A leading Commercial Audio Manufacturer is seeking a skilled sound systems specialist with expertise in system architecture and problem-solving to deliver designs and technical support to our extensive dealer and customer network. This role will also involve contributing to the development of localized products for the US market and providing technical assistance.

Dress code is business casual (formal attire not necessary). Occasional travel may be required for industry events, estimated at around 5%.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of design experience in audio or telecommunications.
  • Project management experience in installations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with tools for designing both audio and audio over IP systems.
  • General electronics knowledge.
  • Understanding of IP audio, particularly concerning SIP interfaces, codecs, and protocols.
  • Solid foundation in audio principles (SynAudCon, CTS certification is a plus) and familiarity with industry-standard literature (e.g., Sound System Engineering by Davis, Petronis Jr., Brown) and the associated mathematics.
  • Proficient in using Wireshark and interpreting its results.
  • Experience with 2D AutoCAD (AutoCAD LT).
  • Knowledge of EASE Standard (v4.74/v5.2) and ability to analyze results.
  • Familiarity with EASE Evac (current version) and capability to interpret outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to convey intricate concepts in a straightforward and comprehensible manner for non-technical audiences.

Language Proficiency:

  • Conversational Spanish is beneficial, though not mandatory.
  • This organization is Japanese-owned; therefore, conversational Japanese will significantly enhance your candidacy.
