Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Operations Program Manager to join our team at Reed Charters LLC. As a key member of our Program Management Office, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's Emergency Dispatch Services (EDS) Program.

The EDS Program is responsible for managing all aspects of emergency response and management activities, including doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, and education, personnel, facilities, and policy (DOTMLPF-P). Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the EDS Program, aligning with National and DoD requirements and public safety industry standards.

As an Emergency Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for conducting technical analysis of laws, regulations, policies, and industry standards related to emergency management and public safety telecommunications and information systems. You will also provide training program management analysis, formulate training requirements, develop and maintain EDS training policy, and determine resourcing needs for DoD's resource allocation process.

Additional responsibilities include developing an annual 9-1-1 Education, Training, and Awareness campaign, conducting an EDS workforce analysis, and facilitating coordination with Capabilities Development and Integration (CD&I) and Program Executive Office Digital & Enterprise Services (PEO Digital) to develop Consolidated Emergency Response System (CERS) requirements.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or master's degree and 10 years of experience in emergency dispatch services support. You will be proficient with software applications hosted in multiple program environments and have exceptional organizational, planning, oral, and written communication skills.
