Position: Delinquency Control Counselor
Overview:
In a dynamic call center environment, you will engage in outbound communication using an auto-dialer system while also managing incoming calls. This role focuses on early-stage collections (1-30 days overdue), aiming to assist members before their accounts progress to mid or late-stage collections, which can impact their credit ratings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct effective communication with members to address outstanding accounts.
- Utilize multiple systems efficiently to track and manage accounts.
- Negotiate solutions with members to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Demonstrate empathy and problem-solving skills to assist members in overcoming financial challenges.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication abilities.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, such as call centers, is advantageous.
- Background in customer service, retail, or hospitality is beneficial.
- Personality and cultural fit are essential; we seek determined and hardworking individuals.
Performance Metrics:
Success in this role is measured by your effectiveness in managing accounts and collecting outstanding balances. You will receive regular reports comparing your performance with peers.
Training Program:
The initial training consists of four weeks of virtual and classroom instruction, followed by four weeks of hands-on NEST training.
- Training Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM CST / 8 AM - 4:30 PM EST.
- The first three days are conducted on-site, transitioning to a hybrid model for the remaining training period.
NEST Training:
This phase lasts four weeks and is conducted entirely on-site, focusing on essential skills such as phone etiquette and system navigation.
Work Schedule:
- Availability required Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Mandatory Saturday shifts with a weekday off in exchange.
- Hybrid work model with two days on-site each week.
Compensation:
$18.95 per hour
