- Engage in various projects and complete tasks as directed by management.
- Exhibit teamwork and readiness to assist wherever necessary.
- Conduct data entry and maintain patient files.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of patient exam rooms and stock supplies.
- Communicate effectively with practice staff and patients regularly.
- Document and update patient records based on phone interactions.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and assist with various administrative tasks.
- Promote alternative payment plans when insurance coverage is not applicable.
- Support the department's general administrative reporting duties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- This is an entry-level position.
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Customer service experience is beneficial.
- Knowledge of insurance processes is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivated and quick learner, capable of working independently.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Typing speed of 45 wpm or higher.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and multitasking effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Familiarity with eClinical and/or TIMS is advantageous.
- Experience with ACT Pro is a plus.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
