Job Description

Acton Medical Associates is a leading independent medical practice dedicated to delivering exceptional primary care to both pediatric and adult patients. Our team of dedicated physicians and highly skilled healthcare professionals collaborate to provide personalized, top-notch care to every patient. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Internal Medicine department to join our team. The NP will participate in a care team model, collaborating with primary care physicians to care for a panel of patients with a variety of primary care needs, including routine physicals, chronic disease management, and urgent care. This position is full-time with occasional Saturday urgent care coverage. No night or weekend call.

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to work within a care team with approximately 2-3 PCPs to provide comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management, transitional care out of the hospital setting, and urgent care for adult patients age 18-end of life.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in adult medicine.

Qualifications

  • Certified as a nurse practitioner by the ANCC or AANP.
  • Current RN and NP licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Current BCLS.
  • CPR certification annually.

Other Qualifications

  • Participation in relevant CEU programs.
  • Maintenance of requirements for licensure.
