Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care while assessing the needs of patients and developing individualized plans that meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform ongoing assessments of each patient's biopsychosocial needs
  • Develop initial nursing plans of care
  • Perform charge nurse duties
  • Apply interventions identified in the treatment plan and document all nursing care
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate group programming
  • Interact respectfully with all patients while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Provide input on patients' progress and recommend any changes to the treatment plan
  • Participate in discharge planning with the patient and other team members

Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center is a secure inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency.

This is a full-time position with rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mental health setting and possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota.
