Role Summary:

The Patient Service Representative plays a crucial role in managing the patient check-in process, updating patient records, and handling insurance details. This position also involves operating a multi-line phone system, maintaining medical records, and processing co-pays and cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform opening and closing duties for the clinic
  • Welcome patients, check them in for appointments, and verify insurance information

  • Monitor schedules for any changes or cancellations
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as necessary
  • Complete designated tasks within the electronic health record

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience: 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office or similar role is preferred.
