About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for proposing technical solutions and working on consulting assignments, using established standards, methods, and technologies, to develop solutions and resolve issues.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose technical solutions and work on consulting assignments, using established standards, methods, and technologies, to develop solutions and resolve issues.
  • Propose engineering solutions to meet the needs of the customer level.
  • Actively seek feedback for improvement.
  • Lead sales activities to win consulting assignments from 50 to 250 hours.
  • Negotiate directly with the responsible persons at the customer.
  • Work with contract management activities (invoicing and work in progress, etc.) in one's area of work.
  • Ensure delivery of assignments as per the agreed contract.
  • Follow work plans and cost estimates in one's area of responsibility. Ensure quality timely implementation within targeted cost.
  • Conduct risk and opportunity assessments for consulting assignments.
  • Propose and initiate actions to mitigate and control risks in one's area of responsibility.
  • Build networks internally and externally for exchange of information.
  • Provide support and technical advice to colleagues.
  • Support the development of new tools and processes for engineering effectiveness.
  • Ensure usage of standard processes and tools.
  • Report inefficiencies in processes and tools.
  • Contribute to achieving agreed business financial targets for a technology, business area, or consulting team.

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in electrical engineering, electrical power systems, or a similar field. You should have around 4 to 8 years of experience in the design, understanding, and performance of power systems studies. You should also have knowledge in power systems analysis, as well as experience in software simulation tools such as PSS/E (power systems), EMTP (electronic systems), and/or Dig Silent Power Factory.
