ROLE SUMMARY.

As the Vice President of Hospitality Sales within our Lodging Division, you will leverage your operational expertise and strategic foresight to ensure that each venue and hotel under our management delivers outstanding experiences for both team members and guests, while optimizing revenue potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the IR Management LLC executive team, particularly with senior operational leaders and the Revenue Management Team, to formulate sales strategies aimed at enhancing overall revenue across all properties.
  • Lead and support the sales teams at each property.
  • Ensure that effective sales processes are established and maintained.
  • Occasionally serve as a task force manager at the property level as required.
  • Assist sales teams in nurturing and developing key client accounts.
  • Motivate the sales team to work together towards a common goal, while providing continuous mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Build and maintain high-performing, cohesive sales teams focused on guest satisfaction.
  • Identify, cultivate, and retain top-tier sales talent.
  • Exhibit integrity, take responsibility for personal and team actions, communicate effectively, foster collaboration, and promote a positive work environment while ensuring the development of a successful sales strategy.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Previous experience as a Director or Regional Vice President of Sales in a full-service, independent, or luxury hotel or resort is essential.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive management experience in the hospitality sector, overseeing multiple properties.
  • A college degree or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A self-motivated individual with a balanced demeanor.
  • Consistently maintain a professional appearance and conduct.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues with their responsibilities and be a team player.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations.
  • Ability to address guest and employee concerns in a friendly and constructive manner.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
