Deputy Director of Vendor Responsibility and Integrity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Vendor Responsibility and Integrity to join our team at the City of New York. As a key member of our Procurement Implementation Division, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Vendor Responsibility and Integrity Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve vendor responsibility determinations per the Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules for contract awards, modifications, and buyagainst transactions.
- Assign and review contract portfolio actions and prepare confidential reports for the Agency Chief Contracting Officer (ACCO).
- Oversee the timely submissions of PASSPort and Department of Labor Services (DLS) documents to ensure compliance with prescribed deadlines.
- Review, evaluate, and monitor contract performance reports and recommendations submitted by program areas and/or vendors.
- Act as a representative for the Office of Contracts at meetings within and outside the Agency.
Requirements:
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and four years of full-time satisfactory professional experience in purchasing, procurement, contract administration, or a related field.
- At least eighteen months of administrative, managerial, or executive experience or supervising professional personnel performing duties in one or more of the above fields.
