Job Overview

The Sales Commission Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing commission-related activities for designated sites within Staffworks CNY. This position is integral to ensuring accurate commission processing and serves as the subject matter expert on commissions across the organization's global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer direct sales commissions and point of sale commissions.
  • Generate monthly commission reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough reconciliation and auditing of monthly commission data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update point of sale zip code and unit of measure tables.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with Sales Channel Partners.
  • Identify and rectify commission discrepancies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of commission tables and salesperson master data.
  • Process commission adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure data integrity across various commission-related systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Finance.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and metrics as required.
  • Manage aging reports and engage with customers regarding overdue accounts using effective communication skills.
  • Investigate and analyze records to resolve payment and credit disputes.
  • Compile data and calculate monthly accounts receivable metrics.
  • Execute additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in data systems and environments, with intermediate ERP experience preferred.
  • Operational mindset with strong customer service instincts; demonstrate accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate problem-solving processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build successful working relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of commission information.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced global environment while managing multiple tasks with precision.
  • Self-motivated with a quick learning ability and adaptability to change.
  • Familiarity with commission rates and sales incentive plans.
  • Competence in performing basic mathematical calculations and financial analysis.
