We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to join our team at United Employment Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and administering the Quality Plan, ensuring quality compliance at the plant, and maintaining the inspection system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer the Quality Plan, ensuring it meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Assure all plant employees are trained in quality requirements and the Quality Plan
- Monitor and improve the quality system, including internal audits and corrective actions
- Maintain the inspection system, including approval of incoming material and product testing
- Resolve external and internal customer complaints in a timely manner
- Actively support and manage within company guidelines, including mission, vision, and Code of Conduct
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
- 7-10 years directly related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Automotive/aluminum extrusion industry experience preferred
- Prior Quality management experience required
- Certified Quality Engineer/Manager preferred
- Working Knowledge of IATF16949 system requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of Six Sigma tools
