Care Team Leader

As a Care Team Manager at Senior Helpers of West Kentucky, you will be responsible for leading our caregiver team in providing exceptional care to our clients. Your leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop your team will be essential in ensuring the highest level of care and satisfaction for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the caregiver team to ensure high-quality care and services are delivered to clients.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance caregiver skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular quality assurance site checks to ensure care plans are being implemented correctly.
- Maintain morale and recognition programs for caregivers, including Caregiver of the Month and acknowledgments of high-level performances.
- Supervise the distribution of caregiver communication and review daily logs and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Take appropriate action based on company policies regarding caregiver call outs, late arrivals, early departures, and refusals of assignments.
- Ensure that orientation and hiring sessions are comprehensive and conducted according to standards for all new hires.
- H.S. Degree Required, CNA preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience managing employees, hiring, and/or onboarding required, preferably in a healthcare-related setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
- Experience in conflict management and ability to use critical thinking to proactively prevent and solve problems.
- Ability to visit clients' homes in the assigned territory and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
- Ability to learn software programs quickly and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
