Design Supervisor Job Description

The Design Supervisor is a key role within our team, responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service through design services. This position requires a strong understanding of interior design principles and the ability to lead and develop a dynamic design team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing design team, including performance evaluations and training.
  • Provide expert advice to customers on tile, wood, stone, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.
  • Design and sell complete, functional, and aesthetically appealing solutions to customers.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and employees to achieve sales and other goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging design trends in the market.
Requirements:
  • Design education (BA or AA in Interior Design) or 6 years of interior design experience in lieu of education.
  • 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
  • Knowledge of hard surface flooring preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.
