Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability and Maintenance Manager to join our team at Allied Mineral Products. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our maintenance organization and ensuring the effective, timely, and safe execution of all maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the maintenance organization and lead direct reports, including hiring and training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluations, and goal setting.
  • Develop maintenance standards and promote best practices in collaboration with the plant maintenance, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Direct existing preventative and predictive maintenance work practices while continuously improving processes and methods to improve equipment performance, reliability, and lower maintenance costs.
  • Work in partnership with facility leadership to achieve facility objectives and establish strong working relationships with internal customers.
  • Provide technical ownership and leadership as Reliability and Maintenance SME for Allied's Columbus facilities.
  • Develop and champion the maintenance budget process and foster partnerships in the cross-functional accountability of adhering to budgetary objectives.
  • Ensure timely, thorough, and complete work order execution and traceability through CMMS.
  • Utilize local resources, contractors, and suppliers to resolve complex maintenance challenges.
  • Manage maintenance parts inventory stocking levels and usage.
  • Support the implementation of Digitization and Automation projects for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
  • Analyze operational data and equipment performance history to deliver improvements in critical maintenance related metrics.
  • Maintain excellent lines of communication with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, other Allied departments, and our affiliates.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 3 - 5 years of supervision desired.
  • Reliability Engineering background preferred.
  • Results driven individual with strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills desired to engage effectively and collaboratively across the organization.
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills with knowledge across maintenance, engineering, and operations.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) desired.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in an office environment with frequent exposure to Allied's manufacturing facilities. The ability to follow Allied Mineral Products' Safety & Health policy and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as appropriate is required.
