Job Title: Direct Support Professional

At March Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing individualized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily instruction and assistance to individuals, including meal planning, leisure time planning, and personal care.
  • Administer medications, manage finances, and maintain records of supported individuals' care.
  • Accompany individuals to medical appointments and social events, providing transportation and companionship.
  • Work cooperatively with coworkers, residential support managers, and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation and intermediate technology skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
