Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the safety and well-being of children through supervision and therapeutic techniques.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and dignified environment for children.
  • Model healthy behaviors and demonstrate techniques that enhance problem-solving abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external professionals.
  • Manage and assist in modifying child behavior.
  • Provide safe transportation and participate in program meetings and training events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree or High School diploma considered.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to attain or maintain a Public Service License.
  • Three years of experience in the human service field or working with special needs children.
  • Knowledge of child development, abuse and neglect issues, and ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
