This role is a Vascular Neurologist position at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The salary for this position is approximately $325,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience. The Vascular Neurologist will provide care for patients with stroke and other vascular conditions.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have completed a neurology residency and a fellowship in vascular neurology. They will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with stroke, participating in on-call coverage, and educating medical students and residents. A strong focus on patient care and education is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with stroke and other vascular conditions
- Participate in on-call coverage to ensure 24/7 patient care
- Provide educational opportunities for medical students and residents
- Contribute to scholarly activities derived from clinical practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
- Completion of neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship
- Eligibility for Kansas medical licensure
