About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional neurologist to join our esteemed team at the University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and managing patients with cognitive disorders, leveraging your expertise to drive innovative research initiatives.

With a strong focus on providing cutting-edge clinical care, education, and support for dementia caregivers, our center offers a comprehensive environment for growth and collaboration. You will have the opportunity to participate in industry-sponsored trials, lead patient care initiatives, and contribute to the development of investigator-initiated studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage patients with Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive disorders in our tertiary referral Memory Care Clinic.
  • Attend on the neurology ward, consult or stroke service as needed.
  • Supervise neurology residents in hospital wards and clinics, teaching them essential skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to medical student education, including lectures and workshops.
  • Opportunities to serve as Principal Investigator for industry-sponsored clinical trials and develop independent research projects.
Requirements
  • MD or DO, Board certified/eligible in Neurology.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
  • United States citizenship or permanent resident status.
