Seeking a Neurologist for the University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center
The University of Kansas Alzheimer's Disease Research Center is seeking a neurologist to join our team. As a neurologist at our center, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients in our tertiary referral Memory Care Clinic. You will work closely with our team of experts to provide comprehensive care to patients with Alzheimer's disease and other cognitive disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patients in the KU Memory Care Clinic.
- Attend on the neurology ward, consult or stroke service.
- Supervise neurology residents, including supervision of residents in the hospital wards and in the general neurology clinic.
- Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic and provide occasional lectures to medical students.
- Opportunity to serve as the PI for industry-sponsored clinical trials in the KU Alzheimer's Disease Research Center.
- Opportunity to develop independent research projects and publish scholarly publications from these efforts.
Requirements:
- MD or DO, Neurologist.
- Board certified/eligible in Neurology.
- Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri.
- United States citizenship or permanent resident status.
