About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Specialist to join our team at the State of Montana Department of Administration (DOA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our customers. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our enterprise procurement system, eMACS. You will also be responsible for submitting and processing new user requests, workflow changes, and updating vendor data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for eMACS users
  • Submit and process new user requests, workflow changes, and vendor data updates
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, and customers
  • Communicate technical issues to non-technical people
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems, escalating issues when necessary

Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Two years of job-related work experience, including help desk experience
  • Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
