Job Description

BETA Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Transportation Design Engineer to lead various traffic and transportation projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong background in traffic and transportation engineering and be proficient in Synchro/SimTraffic, AutoCAD Civil3D, and Microstation OpenRoads.

Responsibilities

The Transportation Design Engineer will be responsible for performing traffic analysis, traffic signal sequencing, phasing and timing, and traffic modeling and simulation. Additionally, the engineer will prepare engineering plans for traffic signals, intersection geometry, pavement markings and signage, temporary traffic control and construction staging plans.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • 4+ years of related engineering experience in traffic and transportation projects
  • Fundamentals in Engineering (FE / EIT) certification
  • Demonstrated strong background in traffic and transportation engineering
  • Proficiency in Synchro/SimTraffic
  • Experience working with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation OpenRoads
Preferred Experience
  • Professional Engineer license desirable
