At CarMax, we're looking for a skilled Inventory Operations Specialist to join our team As an Inventory Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of inventory on our lots. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to inventory movement and lot maintenance.
  • Assist with vehicle receiving, shipping, and transportation between locations.
  • Participate in problem-solving activities and contribute to process improvements.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Ensure daily lot maintenance and security of display areas and work-in-progress zones.

Requirements:

  • CURRENT DRIVER'S LICENSE AND MEET THE CARMAX DSEPS STANDARDS
  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Ability to execute processes as defined by work instructions and/or standardized work
  • Complete Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications & Assigned Workday Learnings
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs

Working Conditions:

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility and adaptability. You'll be working in an indoor and outdoor environment, exposed to varying weather conditions. Regularly walking or standing for extended periods is required.
