Produce Sales Specialist

Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Produce Department, you will contribute to delivering a quality shopping experience for our customers.
We have been committed to providing fresh and affordable products to our communities for decades. Our associates play a crucial role in serving millions of customers weekly across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and efficient shopping atmosphere.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow associates to maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, preparation, and presentation of produce in alignment with company standards.
- Assist in unloading deliveries for the Produce Department.
- Utilize company tools and systems for inventory management and ordering processes.
- Adhere to all company policies, guidelines, and standard practices.
- Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety protocols diligently.
- Identify and rectify any unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
- Report any incidents involving associates or customers to the appropriate management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the designated uniform and adhering to the dress code.
- Complete required training programs and courses successfully.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and technical requirements.
- Aptitude for problem-solving using technical information.
- Must meet age requirements for specific job functions.
- Ability to fulfill the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodations.
- Proficient in using computers and communication systems necessary for job functions.
- Capable of performing repetitive motions with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Frequent standing and walking short distances.
- Comfortable handling various substances related to cleaning and produce.
- Ability to reach and grasp at different levels.
- Meet established performance standards for the role.
- Tolerate working in varying temperature conditions.
