Job Overview

Travel Requirements: This role necessitates regular travel. The organization covers accommodation expenses for projects situated over an hour from home. Additionally, a vehicle allowance, per diem, and gas card are provided alongside salary and benefits.

Position Summary:

The role involves providing assistance at construction sites by collaborating with the construction team and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and effective coordination across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the interpretation of project designs, ensuring construction aligns with plans, and assist in project controls such as budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
  2. Oversee project execution, review technical drawings, generate project status updates, monitor financials, and enhance communication among project stakeholders.
  3. Research and ensure compliance with construction codes and regulations.
  4. Assist in problem-solving, manage RFI submissions, participate in site meetings, and uphold safety standards.
  5. Perform additional tasks as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in interpreting architectural, engineering, and civil plans.
  • Familiarity with terminology and operations within the construction sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in making independent decisions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Preferred degree in Construction Management.
  • Skilled in interpreting blueprints, estimating costs, and utilizing construction software.
  • Experience working with third-party developers and local authorities is preferred.
  • Strong communication capabilities.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in the construction field.
  • OSHA training and GSWCC 1 certification preferred.
  • Experience in site improvements and vertical construction is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Ability to work safely in construction settings, adapt to various weather conditions, and work extended hours when necessary.

Work Environment:

Office located in a construction site trailer.
