The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development and upkeep of production schedules that align with essential manufacturing processes across the value stream. You will provide insights to integrated product teams regarding manufacturing challenges and their effects on the supply plan, ensuring we meet customer demand effectively.

This position emphasizes cost efficiency, inventory management, and proactive identification of long lead constraints. You will engage in production schedule reconciliation and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain high levels of customer service.

This role reports directly to the Production Planning Manager and involves regular interaction with SIOP teams, IPT teams, Production Chiefs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering.

The successful candidate will embody the principles of our Operating System, CORE, and advocate for lean manufacturing practices while thriving in a high-performance team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand forecasted customer demand.
  • Assess planned production supply.
  • Assist in the implementation of Kinaxis Rapid Response within the module center.
  • Establish a routine for evaluating supply plan feasibility to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Conduct material availability assessments.
  • Perform production capacity validations.
  • Manage work order releases in accordance with build requirements.
  • Execute supply plan reconciliations upon identifying manufacturing obstacles.
  • Facilitate the escalation process for any deviations from the production plan.
  • Collaborate with operators, production schedulers, and material handlers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicate with Delivery Assurance Managers, Business Unit Leaders, and Technical Support teams to align on priorities.
  • Optimize planning parameters to meet production and inventory goals.
  • Participate in Supply Review meetings, reviewing MPS with Manufacturing, Programs, Demand Planning, Procurement, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the execution of operational plans and prepare data for raw material and vendor support.
  • Utilize consensus decision-making techniques to develop the most effective MPS that aligns with business objectives.
  • Create and implement production schedules for all components.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to address scheduling challenges and guide cross-functional teams toward fulfilling commitments to customers.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to achieve organizational goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Engage effectively with all management levels within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) setting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Preferred University Degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for necessary export authorizations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in production control and/or materials planning.
  • Proven track record in inventory management and delivery assurance.
  • Familiarity with SAP and strong analytical skills to drive outcomes.
  • Strong operational background and internal customer focus.
  • CORE or equivalent certification, including process maturity development and root cause corrective action methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000 - $68,000 per year
