As a sorter in Retail Rebel's Small Side Processing department, you will play a crucial role in identifying products designated for retail outlets, auctions, and online marketplaces. This position demands a high level of attention to detail in a dynamic environment focused on both quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and process a variety of merchandise
- Accurately assess the condition and value of items
- Thrive in a fast-paced setting while meeting production goals
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to enhance departmental processes
- Participate in daily meetings to prioritize tasks
- Manage waste and recyclable materials
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse space
- Perform additional supportive tasks as required

Compensation:
$18.27 per hour
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting
- Extended periods of standing or sitting during shifts
- Potential use of equipment such as box cutters, bins, dollies, and pallet jacks
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly; occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with operating a pallet jack and other material handling tools is preferred, but training will be provided
- Basic understanding of retail merchandise types and their values
