Job Title: Pathology Physician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a proficient Pathology Physician to enhance our esteemed medical team at LADGOV CORPORATION. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential diagnostic and consultative services, ensuring exceptional care for our veterans in the field of pathology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of patient specimens, including tissue samples and bodily fluids, to accurately identify a range of diseases and conditions.
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to offer pathology insights that inform patient treatment strategies and healthcare plans.
  • Generating timely and accurate pathology reports, with meticulous documentation of findings and interpretations.
  • Engaging in the analysis of laboratory tests, including molecular diagnostics and immunohistochemistry.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of advanced pathology techniques, technologies, and treatment methodologies through ongoing professional development.
  • Providing expert consultations and guidance to colleagues on pathology-related issues and cases.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid medical license in any US State or Territory.
  • Board Certification in Pathology by the American Board of Pathology along with current BLS, ACLS, or equivalent certification.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.
  • Demonstrated expertise in surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and instructing medical residents and students is advantageous.
