Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance staff to achieve month-end close, customer reporting, and invoice processing goals.
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage responses to external and internal audit requests, ensuring compliance with FAR, CAS, and GAAP regulations.
  • Oversee and report annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and associated financial analysis.
  • Maintain an efficient cost control system, monitoring and controlling contractual direct costs and associated indirect costs.
  • Track capital asset financing agreements and prepare reports for management.
  • Communicate financial results and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and report on business performance at multiple levels, responding to ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Proactively identify and address potential financial risks and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Seven years' experience in financial planning, analysis, and operations in a government contracting setting, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with FAR, CAS, and GAAP compliance.
