Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Chi. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, performing radiographic and cardiopulmonary procedures, and working closely with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images, including x-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
  • Perform radiographic and cardiopulmonary procedures, including venography, myelography, and gastrointestinal exams
  • Position patients and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Examine radiology film and/or digital exams for properties such as density and contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
  • Record test results and monitor patient data
  • Maintain accurate department records, including radiographic logs and shipping and receiving logs
  • Calibrate and maintain x-ray equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from an accredited school of radiologic technologist
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certified by the State of Texas
  • Two years of clinical experience in radiologic technology
  • BLS certification
