Key Responsibilities
  • Masking Preparation & Application:
    • Material Selection: Choose suitable masking materials based on customer work orders and the specific requirements of the parts.
    • Surface Cleaning: Ensure that all surfaces are clean and free from contaminants prior to masking.
    • Precise Masking Application: Accurately apply masking materials to designated areas that require protection during subsequent processes.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Visual Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of masked parts to identify any imperfections.
    • Compliance with Specifications: Ensure masking aligns with technical drawings and customer directives.
    • Defect Management: Quickly identify and rectify any masking errors.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Effective Communication: Work closely with other production team members to maintain a seamless workflow.
    • Feedback Mechanism: Share insights on masking processes to promote operational improvements.
  • Safety Protocols:

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in metal finishing or a related manufacturing field is advantageous.
  • Skills & Competencies:

Compensation and Benefits
  • Wage: Starting at $17.00+ per hour, with potential for a review after 90 days based on performance.
